The walkthrough Metal detector is safe for persons having vital support system such as: pacemakers, defibrillators and even for pregnant women. It is also safe for computer-type storage media ( floppy disks, audio cassettes, video cassettes and similar).

Why does each model have a different tunnel size?
Each model has a different tunnel size due to the different applications required. The portable models such as AC 5333 to 6040 series are designed only to scan small baggage i.e. envelopes, hand bags etc. while the AC 100100T, AC 100100B,AC 10080 series are designed to scan large cargo.

What is Multi-Energy?
MULTI-ENERGY is a dual energy mode which enables the ORGANIC and INORGANIC keys and displays scanned images in color mode. Blue indicates inorganic materials, Orange indicates organic materials, green indicates intermediate materials (mixture of organic and inorganic materials) and black indicates very dense materials.

How about Film Safety?
The x-ray dose that is emitted by the Auto-clear x-ray machine is much lower (under film safe level) than the required dosage permitted by law, which makes it safe for high speed film to pass through the x-ray machine without causing any foggy effect on the film.
